Novoxxx (the unreleasable) Novoxxx is a synthi-freak and a sound fiddler from Eastern Europe and has often helped out as an engineer in the Chiefrocker Lab. He calls his very special sound Emotronix, a wild mix of emotion and electronics. And yes, it is indeed his abstract and minimalistic constructions of sound, which have made him an inherent part of the CHIEFROCKER Team. This synthesizer and hardware enthusiast's Vinyl Debut was released on Marius No.1's latest EP, where he chipped in with a remix. If you ask Marius about Novoxxx he will tell you "...even the craziest styles sound so square when listening to Novoxxx's stuff that I ask myself, is this dude maybe absolutely unreleasable" (laughs). Novoxxx often attaches more importance to the ways sounds take within instruments than to the original sound itself which makes his sound unmistakeable and intrinsically different. He is therefore very suspicious of computer instruments and plugins and uses hardware whenever he has the choice. This pays off with the pure raw energy extravaganza that his compositions radiate. Many Novoxxx compositions are out of this world. This may explain why he claims to be more a maker of noise than a musician.
